Hand dressed walling for stone facing and construction.

Dressed walling stone is often used in new-builds and extensions due to the uniform sizing and contemporary look.

The dressed walling from our quarry in West Yorkshire is traditionally dressed to create a pitched (raised) edge on one side. Our stone is a dappled grey/buff colour, which becomes more buff when wet. We can also supply more traditional buff coloured walling, sourced from a local Yorkshire supplier, if needed.

Dressed walling can also be tumbled and/or blackened to create a more aged or weathered appearance. These finishes are popular with extensions to exisiting yorkstone buildings, where the stone needs to blend in naturally.
